Have my daughter with me at college today due to school holidays. Think she really enjoyed it. It’s been a full day with a rehearsal for JP’s Reggae project, Session Skills, band rehearsal for the musical and then script rehearsal. Rob was able to come to both rehearsals today and Liam who has stepped in as narrator was also able to come. He was brilliant as he stepped straight into character and really brought things alive. The only problem is that now college is on holiday for 2 weeks and half the band and cast are away for the first week and half for the second. I’ve asked everyone to really familiarise themselves with the script and learn their lines anyway they can as it’s important that we try to be off script by after the holidays. If we can manage this then we can use the remaining times to rehearse everything with the band and block off scenes. If everyone has their songs learned it should hopefuly be fairly straight forward. I am keeping my proverbial fingers crossed although I am not holding my breath.
